Various base metal charms sold by our company may also contain small amounts of lead or nickel, which are commonly used in the manufacturing process to help metal alloys flow more easily, and to add strength, weight or definition. At PageHooks we do our very best to conduct business only with established vendors who comply with current Federal and State safety guidelines regarding the use of hazardous chemicals in the manufacturing of the products we sell. All of our charm vendors manufacture here in the USA and provide to us their Certificates of Conformity (Sec. 101 of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008, Public Law 110-314, 122 Stat. 3016). We recommend, though, that you wash your hands after handling, and keep all items away from small children and infants. The products we sell are not intended to be ingested in any manner.

"This product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling."

Prop 65 Warning for Lead Crystal:

"Consuming foods or beverages that have been kept or served in leaded crystal products will expose you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm."
